Jenny Order Pad (Storefront Tablet App)
The feature in one sentence
A tablet ordering app for storefront salespeople: install "Jenny Order Pad" on an Android tablet, and in landscape mode you browse the fabric catalog on the left and build the sales list on the right — tap an item → pick a color → enter quantity and price → select the customer → issue the sales order in one tap, on the same account and the same data, synced in real time with the Jenny fabric system.
"Jenny Order Pad" is the storefront companion app of Jenny Fabric Software, built specifically for salespeople at the fabric storefront to create orders on an Android tablet. It shares one account and one set of data with the fabric system:
- You log in with your existing Jenny account — not a separate account;
- The sales orders you issue, the customers you select, and the items you sell on the tablet are the same data as on the desktop / mobile app — once an order is issued at the storefront, the back office sees it instantly;
- One tablet is shared by multiple salespeople, and each order lets you choose who issued it.
How it divides labor with the main app / Jenny PDA
The main fabric app is "full-featured" (samples, orders, stock, finance, etc.); Jenny PDA is "warehouse scanning only"; Jenny Order Pad is "storefront ordering only" — a big landscape split screen, so the salesperson can issue an order quickly right in front of the customer at the counter.
1. Download & Install
Jenny Order Pad is distributed via a direct download link and is not published on app stores — this is its official distribution method.

Two common blocks during installation
- The download link won't open inside WeChat: WeChat blocks APK downloads — copy the link into a browser to download;
- The "unknown sources" prompt: on first install you must allow "install apps from unknown sources". This is the normal block for a non-app-store APK; just allow it as prompted. For the toggle's location on each brand, see Installing the Latest Android APK.
2. Login
Open the app and log in with your Jenny account:
- Phone number + SMS code, or
- Password login.
Multiple salespeople share one tablet
The storefront doesn't need one tablet per person — everyone shares one tablet, and each order lets you select the salesperson, so whoever closed the deal gets the credit.
3. The Ordering Flow (Core)
Jenny Order Pad uses a landscape split-screen ordering interface:
- The left side is the fabric catalog: search by number / product name, with each fabric showing its width / weight / composition, so you can pull it up on the spot when the customer asks;
- The right side is the sales list: tapped items land here automatically — what you see is what you issue.
Issuing a complete order:
- Tap an item: search the fabric in the catalog on the left and tap it;
- Pick a color, enter the quantity and price → it's automatically added to the list on the right;
- Edit directly in the list: got a quantity or unit price wrong? Change it right in the list — no need to delete and redo;
- (Optional) Enter piece-level details roll by roll: when you need roll-level precision, enter the meters + lot number for each roll;
- Select the customer: once selected, the app automatically shows that customer's accumulated outstanding balance, so you can see at a glance how much they owe;
- Confirm the salesperson → issue the sales order in one tap, and the order enters the Jenny fabric system instantly.
Customer still browsing? Hold the order
If the customer wanders off to look at other goods mid-deal, or wants to think it over, tap "Hold order" to save it for later and pick it up where you left off — without blocking the next customer.
4. After Issuing: Send the PDF to the Customer or to Print
Once the order is issued, generate a sales order PDF in one tap, with two destinations to choose from:
- Send to the customer via WeChat: the PDF goes straight to the customer's WeChat — paperless;
- Send to the print computer: send it to the storefront computer connected to the printer — one printer shared by the whole storefront, no need to hook a printer up to every tablet.

5. FAQ
Q: Can I install it on an iPad?
A: Currently it supports Android tablets only; iPad users, please contact support.
Q: The download link doesn't respond / won't open inside WeChat?
A: WeChat blocks APK downloads — copy the link and open it in a browser.
Q: It says "installation from unknown sources is not allowed"?
A: Allow "install apps from unknown sources" and install again; for the toggle's location on each brand, see Installing the Latest Android APK.
Q: We have several salespeople at the storefront — how many tablets do we need?
A: One is enough — multiple salespeople share one tablet, and you just select the salesperson on each order.
Q: Can the desktop see the orders issued on the tablet?
A: Synced in real time. Same account, same data — once an order is issued on the tablet, the desktop / mobile app sees it instantly; customers, items, and outstanding balances are all one and the same.
