Printer Driver Downloads and Manufacturer Support

Advice on handling printer problems

A printer is a specialized hardware device, and the manufacturer is the true expert—they know the technical details of every product, have professional repair staff, and offer on-site service and warranty coverage. For any printer-related problem, contacting the printer manufacturer's support first usually resolves it faster.

Jenny Software is also glad to assist you with printer-related issues—this is an extra service we provide. But due to expertise and resource limits, for problems with the hardware itself (paper jams, won't power on, print quality, etc.), the manufacturer's support handles them more professionally and promptly than we can.

Below is a roundup of official support phone numbers and support portals for each printer brand. We hope it helps.

Thermal label printers

Used to print fabric roll labels and sample labels, attached to fabric hang tags.

Model selection reference

For buying advice + foolproof recommendations (tiered by scale), see Thermal Label Printer Setup → Buying Advice. In short: prioritize 300 DPI—at 200 DPI, small Chinese text comes out blurry.

After installing the driver for a dot-matrix printer, you need to set the paper size and feed method to print documents correctly. See Document Printing Setup Guide (Windows) or Mac Printing Setup (Mac).

Laser/inkjet printers

Used to print A4 documents, reports, etc. If you use an ordinary office printer to print documents, the system usually already includes the driver—no extra installation needed.

Kyocera FAQ

If a Kyocera laser printer prompts "Please load coated paper," the paper type is usually set wrong. Open Printing Preferences and change "Paper Type" from "Coated Paper" to "Plain Paper."

Problem classification reference

For different types of problems, reaching the right party gets them resolved faster:

Contact the printer manufacturer first

These are hardware or manufacturer-specific issues that the manufacturer handles most professionally:

  • Printer won't power on, completely unresponsive
  • Errors during driver installation, "device not found" prompts
  • Persistent paper jams, abnormal feeding, strange noises
  • Faint print, missing color, stray lines
  • Abnormal blinking indicator lights, error codes displayed
  • Ink/ribbon/toner replacement issues
  • Warranty, on-site repair, hardware after-sales

Jenny Software can help you with these

These are software-related issues that fall within our expertise:

  • Document template design, field adjustments
  • Wrong printed content, missing fields, messed-up formatting
  • The print button in the software does nothing
  • Questions about using the Document Editor
  • Issues with print setup guides and paper size configuration

Situations where we're also happy to assist

Even with a printer hardware issue, if you'd like us to take a look before contacting the manufacturer, we'll do our best to help determine whether it's a software or hardware issue and save you time. Just understand that we can't always solve deep hardware problems, and you may ultimately still need the manufacturer to step in.
